Not so Sunny California

Raining in May.......where is the sunshine ?????

We are kinda new to goats. Raised them as a kid, but that was a long time ago. Now my girls are raising Nigerians. We started out with two does and one whether. One of the does got really stressed on the transport from Oregon to California and it took us three weeks and lots of vet bills to get her back to health. That was about three years ago. We bred the two does in November / December. One doe never took after one month in with buck, might have a problem there. The other doe is due any time. I actually expected her to have her kids by now. Pulled her away from buck around the beginning of December (yes, I learned my lesson about letting them hang out together rather than getting their business done and seperating them). Been watching her alot. Seems comfortable, bags in but not shiny or tight. Ligaments appear to be gone.....no babies. Based on my calendar she should have kidded two weeks ago. Vet says if they are moving don't induce. She does not appear in any discomfort, just rubs on the fence alot. So this is our first year breeding and hence where most of my questions will focus on.

My twins are ten and will be showing goats in 4H for the first time this year. Hoping to get a buck and maybe one more doe. They also show pigs & chickens at the fairs.
