for people who love the littlest dairy goats
Hello,
My name is Dacia and I run Duckleberry Farm in East Central Indiana. We are new to goats as we just brought home our 2 does about a month ago, but we also run a flock of Muscovy ducks, and keep 2 Large Black hogs, chickens, a rabbit, a barn cat and a livestock guardian dog. To say it has been overwhelming for me getting started with goats is an understatement. That is why I am so happy to have found this group and Deborah's online courses. Our plans for these does is to breed for milk as we our working on sustaining ourselves as much as possible with the plants and animals we grow on our farm, but I am also interested in showing, so I've joined the ADGA and would like to work on breeding a herd that meets the dairy standard for Nigerian Dwarf Goats. Thank you so much for accepting me into the group, and I look forward to learning from you all!
