New member Hello from Florida

I cant believe I havent found this group before now.  lol  I have had goats since ~2005.  I started with two does and borrowed a buck (from the lady I bought them from) every year to breed them.  When those does were getting older, I kept a doeling from one, two years in a row.  The herd multiplied from there!  lol  I now have 3 ADGA bucks and 8 does.  4 does are registered.  One buck is polled, so I am hoping to get some polled doelings this year.  3 of my does are getting older, so I may keep a couple doelings this year.  :)  I live in NE Florida.  They will start kidding the beginning of March.  Its always an exciting time!  Thank you for letting me join the group!

In addition to goats, we also have black Angus cattle, 2 horses, 2 dogs, 2 cats, lots of chickens, turkeys, guineas, coturnix quail and pheasants.  :)

I love to make cheese, yogurt, ice cream, and Soap using goat milk.

  • Welcome to the group! I usually have a polled buck in my herd to reduce disbudding chores.
