I'll have to check for sure on the name. Yes, it comes through quite clear. In fact, it even sets up a website that you can view the cameras from any locations --- my brother loved this feature when he was in college during lambing season! Like I said, I'll have to check and post back tonight to get the complete information.
Do you know the name of the wired camera system? Is the picture clear? Can an average person install?

Ours is a wired camera system. It has like 4 or 5 cameras, records motion, has nigth vision, etc. I believe it was around $300 or $400 --- not for sure on that, but we got it from Samsclub.com. Works pretty nice. We keep an eye on the sheep during lambing seasons.

To watch my chicken house (raccoons), I bought a camera at Harbor Freight for around $70. It records with any light at all and is attached to the television with a phone cord and adapter (will record to tape if you have a VCR attached). It was out in the weather and performed very well. It operated in low light and I had the sound as well, important with prowling raccoons.
I don't think I've ever seen one for less than about $400. The $15 baby monitor from Wal-mart gives you audio at least. But if anyone knows a less expensive camera, I'd love to hear about it!
