Hi, everyone! My name is Mary. I'm currently in the information gathering stage. I'll be looking for land in Kentucky to start a homestead and seeking advice about possibly growing all the feed/hay for a few goats. Any information or guidance will be truly appreciated. Thanks!!

    I lived in Kentucky quite a while ago, near Lexington. When I was getting ready to retire from the Army and was thinking of places to buy land to start our family homestead, I looked at going back to that area of KY, to a small town called Wilmore. But we decided to stay here in South Carolina instead.

    I'm not sure which part of Kentucky yet. My mom and sister live over by Paducah, but I'm thinking more towards eastern KY in the hills. I'm currently a truck driver, so I'm not limited to any specific area. Do you live in KY?
