We take our goats for a daily walk in the woods - good for all of us. They enjoy it so much and really get a selection of forage. Right now there are blackberries and do they love them. Also a few falling apples that we cut up for them. The girls get their walk first and if there is enough time left the boys get out after the girls go home. It gets hard to miss a day as the girls eat their morning breakfast and then go to the gate and watch the house - calling now and then. They would like to spend the day in the woods but it is too dangerous, one of us needs to be there with them.

We like to take our goats on walks too. We started with our original 2 goats. We go the same route everytime so they kind of know the drill - through the trees, across the field and around the lake. They love Autumn Olive plants which are plentiful outside of the fence but pretty sparse inside. Our group has gotten bigger as we have 4 goats and 3 dogs now. Last time it got a little hairy getting everyone to cooperate on the way home but like you say, we all got our exercise. Haha!
