Nigerian Dwarf Dairy Goats

for people who love the littlest dairy goats

Could all you veterans explain to me how you decide when to dry off your does and how to do it so you avoid problems with mastitis or infections?

I know it is early for this but I just wanted to be prepared before time snuck up on me.

Thanks so much, Deborah.   According to these symptoms, both goats were in heat last week.  I guess they are like human females who , when they live together, tend to have their cycles at the same time.  I've learned so much from this site - sure you hear this a lot - and gained a lot of confidence in dealing with my two little girls.  Thanks to you and others who have commented on my posts!
