So my 6 year old doe is still nursing her daughter who is 11 months old and 3 months pregnant. Doe is also 3 months pregnant so she really needs to dry off. I taped her teats yesterday and this evening she is very full of milk and her daughter is not able to nurse because she can't figure out the tape (LOL). Will my doe be okay and not need to be milked to ease her fullness? How full is too full? It's been about 24 hours now. Should I milk her a little bit or just give it time and see if it starts to go down?
