Hi everyone, my goats are doing well, but missing the vegetation that is around in the Spring and Summer.
Question for you all: my four wethers are healthy and just got their deworming and immunizations. We found one lice on Frankie, but the rest were looking good. Well, Frankie now has itchy legs. He isn't tearing them up, but when I was petting him and scratching his legs this evening i noticed that they are covered in little bumps. The bumps are small white and hard when I pull them off to examine. They are about half the size of a sesame seed.. They are uniformly covering his four legs and do not move upon observation.
He doesn't scratch them all that much, but when I scratch them he LOvEs it. He'll practically drool on me.
Any ideas on this? I feel bad that he has this affliction and I can't help him. Thanks in advance for reading my post!

That sounds like lice eggs, if they are stuck to the hair rather than the skin.
