I am looking to get some copper oxide wire particles. I found the brand "ultracruz" for $19.99 with free shipping on amazon. At Jeffers, Caprice, and Valley Vet, it appears the brands are all "copasure". If anyone has used the Ultracruz brands, can you tell me your thoughts?

I wouldn't use the Ultracruz because they make claims that are not backed up by any research. They say their boluses last for a year, which is totally bogus because it varies from one farm to another and even one goat to another. They also say that the boluses must be bolused and not chewed. I actually contacted them and asked to see the research that proved that. They sent me a picture of COWP in a goat's rumen -- the same picture that is on the website of the people who had a goat eat a marshmallow with the COWP in it. So the picture does NOT prove what they say it proves. Of course, they didn't know that I would recognize the picture, but it's just ridiculous that they'd use a photo from someone's website to draw a conclusion that is completely OPPOSITE what they are saying!
Also, if you want to read some sad stuff, just search online for Santa Cruz and animal cruelty investigations. Apparently they do perform some research in their labs, and it's not nice. So, I wouldn't buy anything from the company for that reason also.
