Nigerian Dwarf Dairy Goats

for people who love the littlest dairy goats

On Monday night, Sapphire delivered twin bucklings, Haematite and Goldie. This is Sapphire's first freshening and she is exhibiting excellent mothering instincts. She's talks to them (when they're not cuddled together), encourages them to explore, and protects them from other curious goats. She has a healthy appetite and the kids have been nursing well.

We're looking forward to meeting Riot and Queen Jenny's kids in the next 2-6 weeks.
